Is Jaco hot and humid to the point of discomfort?
Jaco can be very hot and humid, since it is a coastal town located near the rainforests. It’s really for each person who visits to decide whether or not that climate is right for them. If you are very interested in Monterey Estates, or living in Jaco in general, I would suggest taking a trip there first to decide whether or not you’ll be uncomfortable in the heat. There are many other places around Costa Rica, specifically the Central Valley area, that are much less hot and humid. In fact, some evenings in San Jose can be quite chilly. The best thing you could do is to visit Costa Rica and see what you like best.
where’s the link to see the “Monterey Estates”?
what if you would like to move to CR as in these estates but you need to work, say in CR? what then?
my impression of the entire CR move is that it is only for those who have either a remote business or have socked away a lot of cash–in other words, if you still need to work for a living–CR is not attainable. (and I don’t mean working those Internet scam get rich websites either).
